22 men arrested in China gambling scandal

Chinese football is also notorious for “black whistle”, bribed referees who influence the outcome of the game. Among the arrested men are a president, managers, players and other officials. The scandal in Chinese football is in line with the existing casino gambling scandal in European football, the Chinese government is now trying to combat the corruption in football.
