Since 2002 bet-office has been in the online gambling market to show you all the best about online gambling. In late 2002 bet-office was a small tiny website (located in a free domain!) that was talking about online casinos (absolutely not famous yet). Little by little the website grew up, changed a lot of looks until today: we can consider bet-office.com one of the biggest portal of Europe, with an editorial staff full time in 7 different countries and languages. But it’s not over yet: the website is about to change again (in better we all hope). Since the end of 2007 our redaction got bigger and bigger, online casinos are not anymore the only priority but we have great people working on online poker in 3 different languages. The look of bet-office will change very soon; our goal is to give you always more space for news, articles and important contents: important for you, for you user that want to play secure and eventually wanna win. Moreover we will have new important sections about sports betting and online bingo, a brand new language for online poker (the UK has just been released) and many other things.
The first language which is going to be live with the “new skin” will be the French area of the site. There will be always more space for your feedback with polls, special areas for comment and a new newsletter.
That with bet-office.com and you won’t regret it.

Gambling industry’s got in 2007 the best year ever: starting from online casinos, passing by online poker and ending up in sports betting 2007 has been a sort of eldorado for all of them registering an improvement of 60% comparing with the already very good year 2006. Everyone was waiting for 2008, everyone knows that it’s quite difficult to repeat the exploit of the passed year but the first data are very positive: in the first 6 months of the current year the situation it’s quite stable and generally we can see again a little improvement…not bad considering the performances of 2007. The crisis of USA and especially of the US Dollar could make us think for the worst but it didn’t happen. So far we can calculate a couple of points percent better than last year due probably to the new software released this year, to the always more trendy online poker in Europe and to the attitude of the people to bet online.
Statistics say that in 2012 this industry will be 450% bigger than now and generally very profitable. This will raise a lot the competition and that’s just fine for the players: high and honest competition means better services and, in this case, software always more powerful, beautiful and secure.
Let’s hope then that the 2008’s trend keep growing and please: keep betting by us!

Roulette, as all gambling games, is a way of entertainment that can lead to pathological and deviant behaviours in case the player lacks of self-control and thoughtlessly abuse of this activity. This is not meant to say that people do not have to approach gambling but to suggest good balance and prevent players from unuseful risks which are likely to transform a sane passion in a crazy run towards distruction. At this purpose, number of casinos have implemented a series of testing and protecting mesures aimed to monitoring players’ behaviours and limit self-destructive and potentially dangerous actions.
These rules are to protect the players and point out the reliability of renowned official casinos. Let’s see in details some of the rousing causes leading to dangerous addiction to gambling. One of the most common forms is represented by people playing roulette (or any other gambling game) for showing off their value, bravery and anticonformism. This category of players usually bets higher amounts than they can afford. Another reason can be the overesteem of complex probabilistic systems drawn up on data basis. These systems can improve players’ chances of winning but remain statistical calculations and thus subject to error. The underestimation of their losses and the overestimation of their methods are one of the more dangerous errors for a player.

In order to exist, a casino must be fully licensed by the hosting country. Things are slightly different when it comes to web casinos, even though the rules applied are the same as per land based casinos. Operators working in the domain are real company investing their funds and providing loans for the research of more and more efficient and safe softwares and IT systems. The working basis for these companies are focused on the three following points: high playability with no need of downloading special softwares, Malta gaming licence (which is considered one of the more serious authorities in the sector) and an excellent multilingual support for allowing the users to play at best. Here’s a list of the more famous companies respecting the a.m. criteria:
-
- Cryptologic: a real master in the field, this company is quoted on the stock exchange and offers a wide variety of games (more than 200) with really painstaking 3D graphics;
- Worldmatch: renowned for the high-quality and safe services which makes this company unique of its kind. Worldmatch is is fully licensed (Deloitte, LGA, etc.) and thus 100% reliable;
- Playtech: renowned for its highly widespread, reliable and fast gambling platforms. Thanks to its marketing strategy, Playtech is a well established company in several important casinos;
- Microgaming: considered as one of the first succesfull companies in online gambling, Microgaming received favourable opinions and important awards from famous casinos. Thanks to its innovative technology, its highly secured data protection systems and graphics, Microgaming has reached Playtech’s levels.

Online Casino Tropez introduces two new exclusive slot machines: Wild Spirit & Silent Samurai. Casino Tropez is thrilled to announce the launch of two new slot machines to its already extensive catalogue of online games. Silent Samurai, a 5-reel 20-line video slot and Wild Spirit, a 5-reel 9-line slot are two new and exclusive games to the online gaming world. As well as the latest cutting edge graphics, Silent Samurai features Scatter symbols and a bonus round where players throw Shurikens (throwing stars) to fight off an army of 20 fierce ninja warriors.
For every ninja that is beaten, a prize is awarded to the player and if a magical ninja is defeated the player wins an additional 3 prizes. However, if the player encounters an evil ninja, the bonus round is over and the free spins will start.
A unique feature of Silent Samurai slot is the “Gamble” option, which is activated once the player has won on a line. This is the first time that the “Gamble” option has been featured at Casino Tropez and this allows the player to double their winnings, simply by guessing whether the next card turned over will be red or black.

Here we have a brand new article dedicated to the online casino roulette: some among the more used roulette systems are considered the basics of several popular gambling methods. An interesting one to mention is the “Law of the Third” which is based on the theory that on 37 spins (38 spins in American roulette) there will only be 2/3 of numbers drawn one or more times, while the other 1/3 will not be drawn. To take advantage of this, players should be placing bets on numbers never come out or on repeated numbers and draw out a reference table in order to work out their strategy and seize the right moment for putting their plan into practice.
Another popular system, known as “Law of Equilibrium” supposes a balancing of events in an interminable series which could be explained as a “no balance” situation occuring in the game due to different results in number combinations drawn. Therefore, players should be placing bets on less frequent (or even never come out) combination in order to increase their chances of winning. Bets can be based on “absolute balance” (i.e. the total number of spins considered), “relative balance” (parts of number combinations) or “partial balance” (precise number sequence). The a.m. systems are only two of the reliable techniques for increasing your chances at roulette and can be strengthened by experience and accurate probabilistic analysis.

Roulette types are distinguishable by the different wheel part of the gaming table, the basic rules and the adding of numbers or particolar combinations. Let’s see the French, British and American roulettes differences in detail.
A French roulette wheel has 37 numbers (0 through 36) and applies the “en prison” rule which is invoked when the spin of the wheel results in a zero. If you have a bet on a simple combination and
zero shows up the dealer gives you the option of losing half your bet or going into prison till the next spin. British roulette applies the same rules as the French roulette except for the a.m. “en prison” rule. Each player disposes of customized coloured tokens which reduce the dealer’s tasks and make the game faster. The American roulette wheel has 38 numbers. Actually, the extra slot for a double zero means less chances of winning for the player (which explains the few systems available for this roulette type) and higher house edge. American roulette does not include the “en prison” rule and numbering is opposite to that of the French wheel. The three roulette types also differ for layout and rules. It is very important to go through the rules before playing a new roulette game.
