Playtech a gaming software and licencor has announced a record revenu growth in the Second Quarter of 2008. They have had substantial growth accros all it's business lines. The compagny recieved $42.4 million for the total revenu for the months March April and June. This is a increase of about 75% if you compair it to the same period last year. Poker related revenues increased also with 75%

In the beginning of 2008 Playtech signed alot of new deals for lincenses. There were 10 new license agreements that include Hollywood poker and Betsson. This way Playtech continued there market share growth in the beginning of 2008.

Playtech raised another 112 million pounds with giving out shares.Playtech alsoclosed the quarter by signing an exclusive licensing agreement signed with Paramount Digital Entertainment, which will enable Playtech licensees to offer games featuring Paramount Pictures brands "Gladiator" and "The Untouchables."

The future looks bright for Playtech, with CEO Mor Weizer stating, "The company has had a good start to July with further continued growth in both casino and poker. With organic growth and the launch of new licensees in Q3 and beyond we look forward to a strong quarter and the Board is highly confident of the prospects for the full year."
