Who ever read the biografie of Barrack Obama knows that Obama is a man from our time with also idea's that fit much more to our time then the last president. Also about Poker Obama has a clear view of the future. At the home of the Parents of Obama there used to be alot of card playing and poker.
After 8 years under the Bush Administration there seems to be some movement in the laws restricting gambling. Also the poker is under review by the Obama adminitration and now it's on the political agenda. The white house made a list with subjects where the American people can vote on. On the website change.com the people of the United States cangive there votes on serveral important issues. And believe it or not Poker is on the list and topping it atm.
The PPA is very happy with al the attention for the poker and online poker. This is what director John Pappa had to say about the whole thing. "Poker players around the country are speaking with one voice to protect the game they love, and the White House is hearing that message."
The online poker example got 46.890 votes untill now and is topping the list of technology and in the top 10 overall. Things are looking good so far.
