Not the Great Dane but the other Dane Theo Jorgensen has won the WPT in Paris. With the win he again added an great win to his long list of victories. In 2008 Theo Jorgensen already won a World Series of Poker Europe titel and now it was time to add a WPT Titel.
He won the WPT titel in a very convincing way as he entered the final table and almost never looked back. Jorgensen himself was also very satisfied with the result. "Wow, I'm on top of the world," said Jorgensen. "It means so much to win a WPT title."
The final table that Jorgensen bested had alot of great players on it, former EPT Prague winner Arnaud Mattern, Swedes Per Linde and Jimmy Ostensson and four Frenchman where his company. With his win he made a great amount of money for the first place: €633,902 and that took his career winnings to 2,3 million euros.
The next WPT will be held in Barcelona and will be a great tournament that is sponsored by PartyPoker. PartyPoker just took over the WPT and is trying to expand there realm.
